A bonus balance becomes withdrawable once the wagering requirement is cleared, though the condition does not always stop there. Plenty of promotions go further and limit the cash-out on winnings that came from the bonus, stating it either in pesos or as a multiple of the bonus amount. Whatever sits above the stated ceiling in a balance built from that bonus is voided when withdrawal comes, however legitimately it was won and however fully the wagering requirement was met.

Using it in practice

Where a bonus could realistically build a large balance, on a high-volatility game say, look through that bonus’s terms for a maximum cashout figure before playing. Confirm there is none by reading the terms rather than concluding it from the promotion’s failure to mention it prominently.

The common misreading

Most people assume the entire balance left after wagering is cleared can be withdrawn. With a maximum cashout in force that does not hold, because the cap bites at conversion or withdrawal whether or not the wagering condition was satisfied. Of all bonus mechanisms this is the one most apt to catch out a player who did everything else the terms asked.

The wagering requirement and a maximum cashout are separate things: one is the condition that releases the balance, the other a ceiling imposed after that release or apart from it. Nor does it match a maximum bet rule, a limit on stake size while playing rather than a cap on the winnings play produces.

A worked example

As a hypothetical figure purely to show the mechanism: a promotion setting maximum cashout at 5x the bonus, with ₱200 credited, puts the withdrawable ceiling on that bonus’s winnings at ₱1,000. Build ₱4,000 out of that same ₱200 bonus and withdrawal cuts it to ₱1,000, the rest being void under the terms. Each promotion decides for itself whether any cap applies and what figure or multiple it runs on, so it has to be read in that promotion’s own terms and never travels between operators.
